Coca-Cola Hands CEO Role To 30-Year Veteran Henrique Braun As James Quincey Steps Aside

The Coca-Cola Company (NYSE:KO) said Wednesday that Chief Operating Officer Henrique Braun will take over as CEO in March next year, succeeding James Quincey, who will transition to Executive Chairman after nine years of leading the global beverage giant.

Quincey, 60, has been at the helm of Coca-Cola since 2017. During his tenure, the company broadened its product portfolio beyond sodas into waters, coffees, energy, and dairy products, refranchised Coke's bottling system, and navigated the COVID-19 pandemic.
