Order Ticket

The Order Ticket in ArcTrader allows traders to place orders by selecting the order type, quantity, direction, and optional exits.

This is one of the main tools used to submit trades from the platform.


What is the Order Ticket?

The Order Ticket is the order entry panel used to prepare and submit trades.

It allows traders to review order details before sending an order to the market.


Where Can You Access the Order Ticket?

The Order Ticket may be opened from:

  • The Trade panel

  • Buy/Sell buttons on the chart

  • Account Manager

  • Chart trading tools

  • Other trading areas inside ArcTrader


What Order Types Are Available?

Depending on the selected symbol and account permissions, traders may be able to use:

  • Market orders

  • Limit orders

  • Stop orders

  • Stop Loss exits

  • Take Profit exits

  • Bracket-style exits

  • Trailing stop functionality, when supported


What Can You Configure?

Inside the Order Ticket, traders may be able to configure:

  • Buy or Sell direction

  • Order type

  • Number of units or contracts

  • Limit price

  • Stop price

  • Take Profit exit

  • Stop Loss exit

  • Risk settings, when available

  • Order confirmation details


Important Notes

Please keep the following in mind:

  • Available order types may vary by symbol.

  • Some order options may not be enabled for every account.

  • Risk values are estimates and may vary.

  • Exit orders should be reviewed before submitting.

  • Market orders may fill at a different price than displayed during fast market movement.


Best Practices

Before submitting an order:

  • Confirm the account.

  • Confirm the symbol.

  • Confirm the quantity.

  • Confirm Buy or Sell direction.

  • Confirm the order type.

  • Review Take Profit and Stop Loss settings.

  • Make sure the order matches your trading plan.
