TORONTO, Sept. 16, 2024 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Federal funding will help enable researchers at Seneca Polytechnic to investigate potential solutions for issues around food insecurity, gender-based violence and textile waste.
Three projects from the Seneca Centre for Health and Social Innovation are receiving nearly $1.2 million in cash and in-kind commitments from the College and Community Social Innovation Fund (CCSIF), administered by the Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada (NSERC).
"The collaborative projects funded by these grants will ultimately help address serious matters that affect every part of Canada, and we are grateful for the continued support of NSERC and our other funding partners," said Ben Rogers, Dean, Seneca Applied Research.
