Nasdaq Surges Over 1%; Workday Shares Climb After Q2 Earnings

U.S. stocks traded higher toward the end of trading, with the Nasdaq Composite gaining over 1% on Friday. The Dow traded up 0.89% to 41,073.20 while the NASDAQ rose 1.22% to 17,835.11.
